For nearly two decades, Ergon has relied on Pathlock Native (formerly Security Weaver) to help manage access governance in its SAP ECC environment. What began as a practical solution to ease the burden on the Basis team soon proved to be a reliable platform backed by responsive support and smooth implementations.

As Ergon’s Director of Infrastructure Applications, Dave Eckle oversees administrators for major enterprise systems and contributes to audit and cybersecurity strategy. When he arrived, access recertification was a manual and inconsistent process. “We didn’t really have a process at the time,” he explained. “This was an opportunity to bring in a product that could help us.”

With Pathlock Cloud, Ergon also gained a better way to meet audit requirements. “In previous years, we weren’t able to provide good information around role recertification,” Eckle noted. “Now we can organize roles, send them to business owners, and get clear sign-offs.”
